THE SANDWICH DIARIES: S1.E5. "Appreciation Day"

While the brisket is still chilling in the fridge the UK is getting warmed up by both the exciting prospect of a Bank Holiday and also by the impending heatwave or as it is also known in countries where summer lasts more than a week "an alright weather". Meanwhile, it is too early to start the bread baking and mustard making, so what better time is there to spend a day just appreciating a few things. Appreciating the: sun, the food, the people around you and just the day in general, even if I am at work for the most of it. Which btw i also appreciate; not only am I gonna be making some "sterling sterling bills yo" to support my expensive meat habit/addiction, but also I'll get to accommodate some hopefully great cocktail experience for both strangers and friends and perhaps make them appreciate their day and life a little bit more.

Another thing that is totally worth appreciating is this little place at King's Cross station called the KIOSK where they make the best sandwiches I've ever had. Their sandwiches are so good that they were the main inspiration behind whatever this thing I am doing is and it is their sandwich that I am trying to best here. So a big shout out to them and if you are in the area you should totally grab a bite there. I mean, just look at this thing I get for lunch, watch it explode with delicious and juicy meat as if Luke Skywalker just unloaded his X-wings laser cannons down its thermal exhaust port. It's so good that I had to cross a line I promised my self not to and take a picture of my food in public.

And finally, I just wanna say how much I appreciate whoever the fuck is still following these nonsense ramblings of mine disguised as a culinary meditation. And you should appreciate you, you handsome stars, champions amongst mankind, cos if you don't, no one else will. And in my book you are right up there with that Kiosk sandwich, so lots of love.

Peace
