The Sandwich Diaries: S1.E4. "Virtue of Patience"

There has been a lot of hot sandwich-action over the past few days but, just like life, making a sandwich isn't always about mad culinary adventures. Sometimes, you have to exercise patience: take a deep breath and just enjoy the world go by as salt and spices slowly invade the meat fibers and intensify them with radical flavours, like socialist beliefs in 1910s Russia. Realise that sometimes it is OK to accept that you have done everything you could and now only time and luck guides the future outcomes, so sit back with a glass of wine or something stronger and enjoy the world burn...*cough* I mean the gherkins pickle. After all, this project is at large about meditation.

Seriously though, nothing exciting happening for the next couple of days, but scenes everyone loves huge lumps of meat so much, I am gonna shamelessly use this platform to show off the dopest steak with wine&pomegranate sauce that I had the absolute pleasure making for my boiz while enjoying a lovely wine that Ayushman smuggled with him all the way from some unpronounceable region of France.

Shout-out to the best butchers this side of London if not the whole of it: The Hampstead Butcher & Providore
